Our children’s ministries offers a fun, loving and secure
environment for children ages 3 years through to 14 years to
learn about Jesus and grow in a relationship with Him. It is
our desire that your family’s experience be a happy one for
your child and an enjoyable one for you. We assure you that
your child will receive the best of care.
Each week the talented and energetic leaders seek to help
the kids have a blast learning the Bible (God’s Word)
through creative Bible stories, singing, dramas, crafts,
exciting games, puppetry, illusions, storytelling and fun
time interacting with each other.
VISION
Child Focus
We are committed to children and family ministries. Because
kids matter to God, kids matters to us. We will endeavour to
passionately promote the importance of ministry to children
and their families to the Body of Christ around the world.
Child Evangelism
We are committed to the belief that every child is capable
of repentance and salvation as the Holy Spirit works and
that all children should have the opportunity to know Jesus
as Lord and Saviour from an early age. We believe that every
believer has the responsibility to take the Gospel to every
nation which includes the children (Mark 16:15).
Spiritual Growth
We are committed to equipping the church to partner with
families to ensure the spiritual development of their
children so that they may better know, the Lord’s love for
them, in them and to assist our children to allow that same
love to flow through them.
Quality Training
We are committed to providing the highest quality mentoring,
training, coaching, and resources to leaders and workers in
children’s ministry so that they are equipped to evangelize
and disciple children worldwide.
Networking and Resources
We are committed to facilitating the networking of
children’s ministry workers and leaders, organizations and
churches, so that they are better equipped to provide more
effective ministry to children.
The safety and
security of your children is of utmost importance to us, and
as such, we have developed and implemented a number of
security procedures to ensure this.
Check-In:
Check-In opens 15
minutes prior to
each service. Upon check-in, each child will receive an
Identification Sticker containing their name, surname and
age. At the end of each service every parent can collect
their children at the registration office.
Indemnity &
Registration form:
Each parent is required to complete an indemnity &
registration form at your first visit to All Star Kidz Zone,
stating your understanding of the terms & conditions of
leaving your child in our care.
What NOT to bring:
Please do not send toys or valuable items as these distract
the children and can easily get misplaced or broken.
Sick Children:
Unfortunately we are unable to accept sick children. Please
keep your child at home until they have fully recovered.
Please keep your cell phone on vibrate for the
duration of the time
that your child is at Kidz Zone.
Should your child not settle, become ill, or
have any other issue that we need you to attend to, we will
contact you via sms. Please come as quickly as possible to
your child’s class to attend to the matter at hand. Please
note Kidz Zone does not administer medicines of any kind to
any child.
Your details:
Please ensure that we have your up-to-date contact
information at all times. Information can be updated at the
registration points in the Kidz Zone foyer. Should your
child have any allergies or medical conditions that we need
to be aware of, please be sure to keep this information
up-to-date as well, at the registration point.
Collections:
All children are to be collected from All Star Kidz Zone immediately
after the
close of each Sunday meeting.
Our teachers and support staff are all volunteers – each is
a committed member of our church who has demonstrated a
desire to serve and a heart for children.

In each class, everyone feels
right at home as we learn about God, Our Father, Jesus
Christ Our Lord and Saviour and the Holy Spirit, make new
friends, bond with our teachers, and do fun and exciting
activities together!
Discipline
It was never God’s plan that the Children's Church staff
should take the responsibility for the training and
spiritual growth of your child. This remains the
responsibility of the parents, we are only there to assist
you in the process. We want to serve you as parents with
that precious gift that God has given to us in the
Children’s Church arena. In order to do this, we need you as
parents and your children, to be involved.
Your responsibility:
• Stay informed as to what is happening at the Children’s
Church – come and visit us.
• Keep us informed as to what is going on in your child’s
life – his/her achievements, sickness, stress, grief etc.
• To see that he/she attends Children’s Church on a regular
basis.
• To read all correspondence carefully and send it back in
time.
• To see to it that your child does his/her homework and
returns it to us (Table talk).
• To see that the rules of the Children’s Church are
complied with – even at home.
• Discipline of your child remains your responsibility
Your child’s responsibility:
• Tithes and offerings be brought – as we teach them the
principle of finances.
• Obey the rules of the Children’s Church.
Our responsibility:
In order to be true shepherds for your children we undertake
to do the following:
• To be alert for any problems that we see and those you may
not be aware of, we will let you and your children know
about it.
• To stand against the onslaughts of Satan and to pray for
your child.
• To be involved with your child’s spiritual growth and
education.
• To help them heal if they are emotional hurt .
• Leading and training through the Word so that they can
discover the treasures in the Word of God.
VOLUNTEERING
Often people regard
their service to God as a big favour for which they deserve
applause. The bible paints a very different picture of a
volunteer culture to the one operating in most churches
today. Volunteering is a Biblical principle that we at All
Stars Kidz Zone embrace and encourage and is a requirement
for everyone wishing to Partner with us. God has equipped
us each with unique gifts, talents and abilities that we can
use to make a difference in the church and the world. Every
member of the church can play a valuable part in enlarging
and progressing the church - The more members involved, the
more effective the church of Christ will be. If you are
passionate about children, then All Stars Kidz Zone is a
great place for you to get involved. There are many
different ministry opportunities available within All Stars
Kidz Zone - from registering children to facilitating
classes.
